Epic Games wowed many once again with it’s latest Unreal 4 demo titled, “Infiltrator” that premiered at GDC. Epic Games stated the deom was running 100% in-engine in real time, showing off UE4’s high-end rendering features as well as the latest tools.
I have to admit that this looks absolutely amazing and the level of detail being captured exceeds everything I have seen from them so far.
A Must Have: Telltale’s The Walking Dead
Telltale Games has taken on some of TV & Movies largest brands. From Jurassic Park to Back To The Future, the team always aims to put you in the place of those characters you have enjoyed on big screen.
After enjoying the Back To The Future series and hearing mixed reviews on the Jurassic Park series, I didn’t know what to expect with The Walking Dead. After the first trailer was released however, I knew this was a title I wanted to add to my library.
This past weekend I got to sit down with the first two episodes of the 5 part series, and I must admit…..I’m hooked. Telltale has outdone themselves in almost every way possible. Delivering a dynamic story line that is effected by the decisions you have to make when it counts. The atmosphere they create is spectacular and really puts you in feet first in the zombie apocalypse. Not only for the dangers of being eaten, but also with the many hard decisions that come when everything we know changes in an instant.
This is a title that I do not wish to spoil for anyone, so I am going to leave the story out of this. I will rather focus on the other aspects of the game. The art direction they chose, works great for every environment they have put in front of you, and once again the voice crew does a fantastic job. Gone is the strictly point and click game play that you may have seen them do in the past, and is now replaced with a more robust movement system. Giving the player more control over the exploration of each area you encounter.
During my play through there were some stutters during loading sections, however they did little to ruin the experience. Already looking forward to Episode 3.

Epic Games Giving Away Free Music For 20th Anniversary
Epic Games has turned 20 years old, and to celebrate the company is giving away a free album of tunes from its games over the past two decades. You can pick up the tracks from the official blog right now. The set includes everything from the Main Theme of Unreal and the Menu Song of Jazz Jackrabbit, all the way up to tracks from Infinity Blade 2 and Gears of War 3.
And what, you might ask, did they include as a bonus track? Perhaps the pinnacle of Epic Games’ musical gifts to the world at large? It’s the Cole Train Rap from the first Gears of War, of course. Woo baby! Bring it on sucka! Etc.
